How to Invite Players to Your Home Poker Group
Setting up a private group and inviting your regular players is the first step to managing your home poker games with Chipup. Here's how to do it in minutes.
- 1
Download and sign in to Chipup
Download Chipup from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) and sign in. The sign-up process takes under a minute.
- 2
Create a new group
Tap "Create Group" and give it a name — for example, "Thursday Poker Night" or "The Sharks". Your group is private by default: no one can find or join it without your invitation.
- 3
Invite players
Tap "Invite Players" and share the invite link or code via any messaging app — WhatsApp, SMS, email, whatever your group uses. Players who accept the invite can view group history and participate in sessions.
- 4
Set player roles
As the group creator you are the admin. You can invite additional players at any time and remove members if needed. Only current members can see game data.
- 5
Start your first game
Once your players have joined, tap "New Game" to start your first tracked session. All invited players will appear in the player list ready for buy-in entry.
Chipup's private group system means your home poker data stays between the players at the table. Invite your crew, start a game, and let Chipup handle the rest.
